Whoa, Nelly, that’s a LOT OF BIKES! This is the most bikes you will be able to fit in a space, guaranteed. If it looks like a lot of bikes, that’s because it is. We are packing them in by alternating the trays high and low to reduce handlebar and pedal interference, and also having bikes come off either side of the rack, so it is intended for an aisle set up. We use the vertical space in your store or storage area by going 2 or 3 tiers high. If you are looking to get THE MOST bikes in an area, this is your answer. Also great for assembled bikes in a backroom space, police evidence warehouses, or a smaller display space that you want to cram bikes into.

Please consider what size bikes you are putting on this rack. You will not be able to fit the same number of large mountain bikes as you could road or tri bikes. The trays are designed so you can space them out as needed. You have the ability to add or remove trays depending on the season and what size bikes you are displaying or storing.

The Island Double Decker is not compatible with the Deluxe Spacesaver.

Description

Intended for high-density storage or display, the Island Double Decker has high and low alternating trays coming off either side of the rack to allow the most bikes in a given space. This rack will display bikes facing both directions and is not intended to be placed against a wall.

Modular sections of the Island Double Decker let you create the display to fit your store:
Starter: a stand alone unit, requires 9′ ceiling
Add-on: connects to starter unit expanding horizontally
3rd tier: requires 13’6” ceiling, expands the rack vertically

High and low trays offset, allowing bikes to be closer together minimizing handlebar or pedal interference. Spacing is at discretion of the customer, but averages 13 inches from tray to tray. Options for the bottom tier include trays, spacesavers, or nothing. This rack is completely freestanding; it can be placed in the middle of the store, with access to bikes from either side. Modular sections allow you to add on more racking as needed. Trays can slide and pivot, allowing easy access to bikes.
